A recent study from Experis has shown a growth of over a quarter (28%) of technology positions created outside the capital. London still accounts for the highest percentage of jobs, but Cambridge, Birmingham, Manchester and Glasgow were named as key ‘hotspots’ – accounting for over 40,000 jobs between them.
Meanwhile the report shows a demand for web development and IT roles up and down the country which account for two-thirds of all technology jobs advertised, showing the constant demand of new technology.
