Integra People, recruiting through a global pandemic.

A year on from the start of the global pandemic that shocked recruitment for many industries, we reflect on how Integra People have managed throughout lockdown.

In order to support clients with staffing needs since the breakout of Covid-19 in 2020 and 2021, our consultants have been on hand to provide temporary, contract and permanent staff where needed. Our specialist sectors such as healthcare, construction, industrial, education and facilities management have been more over the last 12 months than ever before. By offering temporary positions such as supply teachers, warehouse staff and healthcare assistants to business who struggled to employ permanent staff, Integra have been able to help sustain other businesses.

Our Birchwood-based head office and branches including Abergele and Preston have remained open throughout the pandemic, by doing this we have had the ability to provide jobs to people all over the country who may have been out of work due to Covid-19 related disruptions, in particular those who had been furloughed or lost their jobs because businesses have been forced to go under permanently.

As a temporary employment agency, Integra People are proud of the consultants who worked tirelessly through the last year to deliver a strong workforce to the healthcare sector, in April 2020 Integra People placed cleaners, porters helpdesk workers and more to support the NHS Nightingale hospital in London. Not only have Integra People supported the NHS, but private healthcare clients such as care homes and prisons with nurses, healthcare assistants and cleaners. It wasn’t just healthcare workers that were the heroes we were clapping for though, it was the delivery drivers of our shopping, the teachers and teaching assistants who educated our children, warehouse staff who ensured our online orders were dispatched and the construction workers who ensured our roads and structures kept developing.

Now things are starting to get back to normal, we would like to thank our internal staff members for their dedication and hard work throughout the last year. We look forward to see what is next for Integra People.
