Integra Education are supporting an Ofsted rated ‘GOOD’ secondary school that are seeking a Humanities Teacher to start after the Easter half term, full time until the end of the school year at the earliest.

Location: Sefton, Merseyside

Contract: Full-time, Temporary (Starting after Easter Half Term until end of School Year)

Pay Rate: £140-180 per day DOE

Integra Education is seeking a passionate and dedicated Humanities Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in the Sefton area. The school boasts an ‘GOOD’ rating by Ofsted and offers an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to make a significant impact on students’ learning experiences.

Role Overview: As a Humanities Teacher, you will primarily cover a diverse range of subjects including Religious Education (RE), Geography, and History. The successful candidate will possess a teaching qualification and have experience working within secondary education. The role requires a commitment to fostering a dynamic and inclusive learning environment while inspiring young minds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and effective lessons across RE, Geography, and History.
  • Create differentiated lesson plans to accommodate various learning styles and abilities.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere conducive to learning and personal growth.
  • Assess and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the ongoing improvement of the Humanities department.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching within a secondary school setting.
  • Enhanced DBS clearance.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development.
