According to figures from the Office of National Statistics, unemployment in the UK has significantly decreased in the past quarter.
Employment has risen in all industries and age groups apart from those aged under 18, suggesting more young people are considering staying on into higher education.
The data, monitored from November 2014 to January 2015, shows there were 1.86 million people out of work and 30.94m in work in the UK. Since the same report last year, 143,000 people have gained employment.
Ward Hampton, Operations Manager at Integra People, said: “We have seen a huge increase in project work over the past quarter. This has enabled us to place large volumes of contractors into job roles as well as support several people back into work.”
